The ANG AFRC Test Center (AATC) will host the annual combined Air National Guard (ANG) and Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) Weapons and Tactics Conference (WEPTAC) in Tucson, Arizona, 15-20 Oct 17. This conference is instrumental in determining the tactics, training, capabilities, and hardware required to accomplish our varied air reserve component (ARC) missions.
The conference serves as the ANG and AFRC forum for disseminating information throughout the ARC, obtaining inputs from the field, and facilitating crosstell among field units and supporting staffs. It also serves as the ARC tactics review board (TRB).
Each mission design and series (MDS) working group will be led by a chairman who is responsible for conducting group activities, coordinating the discussion agenda, and consolidating group concerns; tactics improvement proposals (TIP); and research, development, and acquisition (RD&A) prioritization recommendations. The working group RD&A recommendations serve as the starting point for ARC RD&A lists. Each chairman will also outbrief ARC senior leadership on the morning of 20 Oct.
